Hasbro introduced the new Marvel Legends Maximum series this year and it would be an understatement to say people have opinions on it. If you aren’t familiar with this sub-line, it’s essentially “what if we made Marvel Legends but with a larger budget.” Of course counterbalance that larger budget with a higher retail price and you’ve got yourself a powder keg of toy collector discourse. The first two releases earlier this year were Spider-Man and Hulk.
Our third and final entry for 2025 is none other than Deadpool and his trusty friend Doop! I’m not totally up on my comic history but I don’t think Doop and Deadpool actually hang out a ton. However, over 20 years ago Toy Biz set a precedent packing these guys together in their sixth Marvel Legends wave. In this age of nostalgia the people love to see a good tag team reunite so here we are!
Deadpool (and Doop) looks to be an all new mold. They’ve included a bunch of alternate hands, guns, swords, a chimichanga, dynamite, effect parts, a knife, and a flight stand for Doop.
