Hasbro Marvel Legends: Marvel vs Capcom Inspired GamerVerse Collection

Hasbro Marvel Legends: Marvel vs Capcom Inspired GamerVerse Collection

ROM, Dash Rendar, and now Shuma-Gorath. In the last year Hasbro has checked off some of my biggest action figure wants. I’d say if we get a Marvel Legends of The Big Wheel and/or Columbo (Cal Lummbo in the Marvel Universe) I can happily retire from collecting action figures. But we aren’t there yet, so lets dig right into probably the greatest set of video game Marvel Legends we may ever see.

These action figures were revealed today via an official Hasbro live stream and you can catch the replay here.

Just to be clear, these aren’t “real” Marvel vs Capcom figures. They take very deliberate inspiration from the video games but there is no official branding, and obviously Hasbro isn’t making any Capcom characters. I’d direct you to Jada Toys or Storm Collectibles (specifically Storm Arena) to fill those needs in proper scale to Marvel legends. Another aside to avoid confusion Shuma-Gorath now goes by Gargantos.

Preorders for this program will roll through June with the one Walmart exclusive set being on July 24th (Summer Walmart Collector Con – I will be tracking that event on our SDCC 2025 Exclusive Checklist page). Let’s take a look at the timeline:

  • 6/5 – Wolverine/Silver Samurai (Fan Channel + Amazon)
  • 6/6 – Psylocke/Thanos (Target)
  • 6/12 – Captain America/Venom (General Release)
  • 6/18 – Gargantos (Fan Channel + Amazon)
  • 6/26 – Juggernaut (Fan Channel + Amazon)
  • 7/24 – War Machine/Omega Red (Walmart)

If you are here, you should know that I will post direct links to all of these preorders when they go live through my socials.

You’re still here? Well there was a tease at the end of the stream today. Being most likely the last info dump stream until San Diego Comic Con we can chew on this green arrow reveal that Dwight was actually chewing on:

What could it be? My first guess is Man-Wolf, the original version with a scaled vest, sword, and quiver of arrows. This year has been interesting so I’m taking a long shot pick. Hopefully we get more details at SDCC.
